ROME-CARTERSVILLE
DEVELOPMENT CORRIDOR
Case Study:
The Rome-Cartersville Development Corridor (RCDC) has been one of our firm’s most important endeavors, leading a team to conduct environmental and public involvement services across more than six years for Georgia DOT. The RCDC is a new connector highway proposed in Bartow County, from the current US 411 interchange at Joe Frank Harris Parkway northeast to Old Grassdale Road with a new I-75 interchange. The firm is leading agency coordination, NEPA studies, community impact assessment, and public involvement while overseeing team members with expertise in other key disciplines. The Draft Environmental Assessment is scheduled for publication in 2022. More project details and periodic updates will appear on our blog.
